Acli-Enaip Oral History Project
Acli-Enaip has launched an Oral History Project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, that aims to record the memories of people from Emilia Romagna, working in the catering industry in London and people from Sicily working in the green houses of Herfordshire and Essex that came over to work in the UK from the 1950s. A permanent archive of the memories will be created at Holborn library, Lowewood Museum and Epping Forest Museum.
A photographic exhibition will be circulating in the community and will open on the 16th of July 2006 in celebration of the Madonna del Carmine in Clerkwenwell Road, Holborn, next to St. Peter's church.
