The image on the left was taken in Surrey Street, Croyden, Surrey 1923. It was reproduced in Basil Crowhurst's** book from an original owned by Olive's brother.

The image on the left is of Giovanni D'Agostino taken in Edinburgh circa 1921

This is the priest in Picinisco. Olive Pompa had the two photographs of the priests who taught her father for the 2 years that he studied there in the early 1900s, aged 12. I dropped off these photos to the priest and he planned to display them in the Church. The priest was ill when I called yet met me outside his residence to receive them, and apologised for not having his 'dog collar' etc., on.
